Tom Stoddart

A débuté dans un journal de province de sa région natale du nord-est de l'Angleterre avant de s'établir à Londres. Il a été témoin de nombreux événements et conflits dans le monde, dont le siège de Sarajevo où il fut grièvement blessé. Après un an de convalescence, il reprit néanmoins le photojournalisme. Son récent travail sur la pandémie de SIDA en Afrique sub-saharienne a été très largement publié. Il est représenté par Getty Images.

Tom Stoddart

Tom Stoddart began his photographic career with a provincial newspaper in his native North East of England. Then he moved to London. He witnessed international events including the civil war in Yugoslavia where, he was seriously injured. After a year of recovery, Tom threw himself back into photojournalism. In 1997, Tony Blair gave Stoddart exclusive access to document his election campaign. Stoddart's recent work focusing on the AIDS pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa has been extensively published. He is represented by Getty Images.
